First Piece of Press Art

Adventure Time Press Art

The folks at Cartoon Network announced what’s in their pipeline for the 2009-2010 season at their upfront presentation this week in Manhattan. So, I blew it again!

March 24th, 2009

If you’re looking for the “Meet the Ice King” storyboard, these panels are what we’ve got for you right now; we took the board itself down.

This time I can’t even blame a network for it. Nope, it’s my fault. Pen and I spoke about it, but I didn’t check in with the other key members of the AT creative team. They felt there was a better way for us to share the show with you as we proceed, and I agreed I’d jumped the gun.

Sorry about that.

Sketch away!

When you’re around a lot of great art all day, like at any Frederator production, you start taking things for granted. Even the offhanded but wonderful scribbles of artists scribbling each other. But, for some reason, a couple of weeks ago at Adventure Time, I had a flash and actually looked up at Pen’s door.
