I have to say, Pen’s always surprising me. After the artwork he had done for the original Adventure Time postcard awhile back, these weren’t what I imagined for the series logo. Producer Kelly Crews emailed these over, saying that Pen had drawn up the basic art with art director Nick Jennings doing the color.

Mind you, no one from Cartoon Network has weighed in yet. I’m guessing it wasn’t what they’re expecting either, so we’re nowhere near a final approval yet.

I think they’re great, and I hoping that everyone else feels the same way. If it was up to me, I’d use every one of them. All the colors are very cool, yes?
