Adventure Time Still on Top

April 14th, 2010

Audiences really came through again for Adventure Time and Cartoon Network this week. Thumbs up from the early ratings reports on Monday night’s show, the debut of “Prisoners of Love” and “Tree Trunks.”

Adventure Time is still a big hit, ranking as Cartoon Network’s #1 show of the day with its five most sought-after age groups.* And here’s news that should really make the network happy: more boys between the ages of nine and fourteen watched Adventure Time than any other show on all of TV Monday (except for one – eat it, WWE).

Another piece of information which is good for Adventure Time is the show scored a 3.7 rating with six-to-eleven year-old kids (translation: 3.7 percent of all Americans that age were watching Finn & Jake at 8:00 p.m.). Both the show before (Johnny Test) and after it (Flapjack) earned a 2.8 rating.

There’s still a long way to go before everyone relaxes and isn’t as focused on the how large the audience is (like that will ever happen), but we’re still off to a good start.**

Now onto what really matters - fans chicgeekk, dimitrischenk, austin, and theforsakenpiggies have uploaded their versions of Pen and Casey’s theme song. Thanks, everyone.
