Pen Ward, creative director Pat McHale, and the show’s voice artists will be there to entertain and amuse you, along with answering questions like, “Will we see Tree Trunks again?” (It looks like you’ll also get a taste of J.G. Quintel’s upcoming Regular Show.) Here’s the skinny:

Yeah, so you thought this day would never arrive (we sure didn’t). However, with Friday’s delivery of “Gut Grinder” and “His Hero,” production on the first season of Adventure Time is officially finished. Further, believe it or don’t, the writing on season No. 2 has just wrapped up, too, with about only eight more storyboards left to complete out of this second batch of twenty-six cartoons. Keep your fingers and toes crossed we’ll soon get word on a third season.
This episode’s character designers were Phil Rynda, Tom Herpich, and Natasha Allegri. Character design clean-up was by Mike Collins and Alex Campos. Color stylists were Ron Russell and Simon Simmonds. Nick Jennings is the show’s art director, and Pat McHale is the creative director.
