Fan Art in Needle Felt

July 14th, 2010

Finn & Jake Needle Felting

I just got these awesome photos along with this note from Adventure Time p.a. Patrick Seery:

My wife has just discovered needle felting about a month ago and she decided to make a few things for me. Her first creation was a mushroom from the Mario Bros and it turned out pretty well, so she decided to see if she could do some characters from Adventure Time.

So if you haven’t yet gotten your Adventure Time T-shirt from Hot Topic, you lose. Thanks to Gronti, we’ve learned the item - so far the only piece of officially licensed merchandise from the series - is SOLD OUT. You snooze, you lose (yeah, I snoozed, I lost, too). The good news? Maybe this success will propel more merchandise to hit the stores sooner rather than later.

The Marvelous Misadventures Of Flapjack • “Tee Hee Tummy Tums”
Robot Chicken • “Full-Assed Christmas Special”
“Uncle Grandpa”

Get a load of these Emmy-nominated cartoon creators, Pendleton Ward with Flapjack’s Thurop Van Orman and Chowder’s C.H. Greenblatt, from last years’s Comic-Con. (Thurop and Carl, I hope you guys tie for second.)
