Blast from the Fan Art Past

April 25th, 2010

I’m sure many of you have seen this epic piece of fan art before, but I thought it should be featured again. Created by Douglas Harvey (a.k.a Lysol Jones), it has been floating around the internet since the original pilot came out, and in my eyes considered one of the first and unique Adventure Time fan art pieces. It inspired me to create my own tribute and to pursue the Autumn Society tributes you’ve seen here on Frederator. Check out more of Douglas’ work here lysol-Jones.deviantart.com and here brograbs.dapshow.com.

Facebook love

April 6th, 2010

The reaction to the premiere of Adventure Time last night was phenomenal!  With all the hype and excitement I wanted to share this awesome page I found while navigating through facebook. If you type in “adventure time” on facebook, there are now several groups advertising the show! To my surprise one of the groups made a photo album on all the Autumn Society Adventure Time tributes. Whoever created the page, thank-you for the support! Congrats to Pen, the whole Adventure Time Design & Production team, Frederator, and Cartoon Network!

Autumn Society Tribute (23): Jordan Jeffries

April 3rd, 2010

When Illustrator Jordan Jeffries sent me his tribute above, I was amazed on how accurate it was to predicting one of the jokes from the sneak peek episode “Business Time.” Jordan has done a lot of editorial work and has published several comics. You can check out more of his work at www.jordanjeffries.com and more Autumn Society tributes at www.theautumnsociety.com.
