One of my favorite moments of the Adventure Time launch party last night (more pictures coming) was seeing writer/storyboard artist (on AT and Fanboy & Chum Chum) Niki Yang in her upscale, mink Finn hat. Gotta get that pattern.

While we’re finishing up the “How to make your own Finn hat!” video, we thought we’d keep you salivating. But, in a cute way.

“My son Marky decided it would be cool to wear the hat with his karate uniform. He got quite a few looks when he walked into class that night with it on. I did have to take it off before he could get down to business though :)”

The Finn hat swag has sure created a sensation among the early adopters. (At least this year’s. Almost three years ago the first fan posted his hat on Deviant Art.)

Cartoon Network’s Creative Services group has really outdone itself. They put together this limited edition goodie for the advance press kit, made a few more for this week’s Kidscreen Summit (a gathering of the worldwide kid media biz brethren) in New York. We started collecting photos of our amateur models there, and some of the attendees brought them home and had them stolen by rabid fans who’ve only seen the promos on CN! (Like George here.)

Hello there fellow adventurers!  My name is Joseph Game, a.k.a Chogrin. I’m an Illustrator & Designer from Philadelphia, currently working as a Production Assistant on Adventure Time.
