“Prisoners of Love” Storyboard 2/17/09

Pendleton Ward and Adam Muto’s board for “Prisoners of Love,” formerly known as “Meet the Ice King.” I held off posting this till after last night’s premiere. If if you’ve seen the episode, compare it with the early (maybe not the earliest) version of the board, above. You’ll see how the bookending of the story of the Lava Man (he is so hot), was eventually dropped for both the sake of time and clarity of story. Who knows? We may see him in a later episode.

And, while you’re in a compare-and-contrast frame of mind, here’s a later version of the board, closer to what you ultimately see.
