“When Did Manny Nail It?” Isn’t that a porn flick starring Scott Bao? Honestly now, I love these characters. They are inherently hilarious.
The bigger the nose, the more hyper the hands, the better. And you know what they say about big noses and hyper hands…wait, that’s another movie.

Yeah…seeing the drawings is one thing, seeing Manny draw them is another. Effortless is what comes to mind. These abilities will surely make a great cartoon. Especially if a deadline is involved. What takes me 1 day to compose one drawing, takes Manny 1 minute…Super good work. Cant wait to see more.!!!

Nice. I like the regression in the art that is being posted. You pretty much started with the finished cartoon and are working yourself backwards to Bronk and Bongo cave paintings. Really cool drawings of the boys though….

These are great sketches, yet the characters are not much like the ones in the color pieces. Are these more recent? The dogs have grown a bit…I love seeing sketches sometimes more than color pieces. Please post more sketches…

I agree with Emili. Sketches really show the heart and soul of the character and the intention of the artist. They are just fun little vestigial stage of the whole, eventual character. Also I just like the rawness of a sketch.

Manny, when exactly did you nail it? Have you nailed it? Do you nail frequently? Stop with all the nailing already…..

Hey Emil and John, yes I like a good sketch myself, much more than a finished piece sometimes. We will be posting more sketches, but we want to pace ourselves. Alan refuses to post the 600 drawings I’ve done of Bronk and Bongo in one posting. And to answer your question, I don’t nail much anymore…my girlfriend won’t allow it.
