The Inner Bongo?

Guileless defender of helpless creatures and enemy of evil everywhere. Those are the superhero traits Bongo would recognize in himself if he ever stopped to think about it. hahaha. I think this pretty much sums up how all small dogs feel. More super and bigger than they really are. Super great style. Again, love the 70’s toon feel to it.

Why is he dressed like Superman? Is this somehow related to the cartoon or more promotion for the movie coming up?

As a kid I spent countless hours making believe I could swing from a web, throw a Batarang or fly through the sky, and occasionally when older, peak at lovely ladies underwear with my x-ray vision like the man of steel. You’d be surprised how many women have lead lined underwear though, darn! Anyway, I thought to myself, “hmmm, If Bongo were to be any hero he would probably be Superman.” A good natured, go with the flow, always there to help anyone super boy scout.
What kind of super hero would you or your characters be? What’s your opinion? We’d like to know.

I like the way you think CC. I would love to see some of this art be used in different ways and posters would be awesome. Anyone else feel this way? FRED? Are you out there? Are you listening?

That is one gorgeous piece of art. I love the texturey, paintedy, old children’s book type look. and I think I would buy a poster of this piece in particular. I don’t know much about Bronk and Bongo yet but it’s looking really great in terms of the art.

I like this picture of Bongo, and I’d also be one of the first in line to buy a poster. I guess what I really like about this pic and about all the previous ones is that color-wise, they’re simple. Not too many different colors, but different shades of certain colors. Overall, I think it makes the characters stand out and it really gives them life. Nice work, guys!
