Channel Frederator Featured Film Ep. 42: “The Pearl”
In an underwater world, one sea creature discovers that oyster pillaging isn’t as easy as it seems…
Says creative director at Grand Designs Productions Rob Cozzens, “The Pearl was produced in just three and a half weeks in order to introduce the villian of a series we are hoping to produce called Starfish Cove. The short production time resulted in a lot of late nights, but we feel it was worth it. We are looking forward to the opportunity to produce the full-blown series starring a village of starfish who are constantly in peril from the Krum, the star of The Pearl. They are protected by the ever vigilant Officer Crabbihan.
Starfish Cove is a spin-off of the DVD we recently completed entitled Sara and the Starfish. A hearwarming tale of a girl whose path crosses with Baby Bloo, a beached starfish. They become friends as she helps him save his fellow starfish and along the way learns that one person can make a difference.

Good job Frederator the show is continuing to be cool and hasn’t gotten saturated with crap or tired. Have you guys gotten Joel Trussel’s animation for the new Cold Cut album? He posted something about it on his blog awhile back and I think it’d be a sweet addition. War Photographer from the 2nd episode still holds as one of the best toons you guys have shown. Thanks for showing cool stuff.

Thanks for the kind words. Last I checked, I think Joel was putting the finishing touches on that. I’ll follow up with him. Thanks for the heads up!
