Throughout the 1980s one of my key animation relationships was at Colossal Pictures (owned by Gary Guiterrez and Drew Takahashi) in San Francisco, with whom my partner Alan Goodman and I produced hundreds of network identifications for MTV, Nickelodeon, Lifetime, and many other cable networks. One of Colossal’s key talents, and one of our favorites, was director and comic book artist Tim Boxell. These two drawings are all I have of Tim’s and I have no idea what they are. Obviously, he’s much funnier and pointed than they might suggest.
