Patrick’s “Puppet” Premiere
One of the biggest supporters of Channel Frederator since its inception nearly a year ago has been independent filmmaker Patrick Smith. Pat’s given us a few shorts to show, including “Drink” and “Handshake”, the latter of which also screeend in this year’s Nicktoons Network Animation Festival.
Tomorrow night, Thursday, 9/7, sees the Los Angeles premiere of Pat’s latest film, “Puppet”. The cartoon will screen as part of the Los Angeles International Short Film Festival at the ArcLight. Pat, along with the film’s composer, Charles Fernandez, will stick around after the screening for Q&A.
If you’re in the LA area, I recommend you go. If you’re not in the LA area, don’t fret. “Puppet” has already been chosen to be screened in more than 50 film festivals over the next year.
