Plastic Man Pilot

October 18th, 2006

Plastic Man is one of the lesser known superheroes of the DC world. He is a man with the power of plastic which allows him to bend into any shape. He also has actually been around since the golden age of comics. He has had many revivals over the years and a lame 1979 cartoon show. The best thing to happen to him recently was when writer-artist Kyle Baker brought Plastic Man back and won an Eisner Award back in 2004, a good read, I highly recommend.

Unbeknownst to me, there was actually a pilot created by WB animation. Thanks to YouTube and it’s uploaders, I present to you the unaired Plastic Man Pilot. Developed by voice acting legend Tom Kenny and Star Wars Clone Wars animator Andy Suriano, it has a very John K’ish and Bakshi type style.

Enjoy!

Wow.
Even if that did get a series I bet it wouldn’t last more than one season.
