A hearty congrats goes out to Austin Madison for hisCal Arts film, “The Ending”, which not only won the Student Choice Award of this year’s CalArts Producer’s Show, but has now won Cartoon of the Month as voted by Channel Frederator viewers far and wide. It comes as no surprise that Austin and his talented-ness has been snapped up by Pixar. For those of you who caught my previous Dreamworks blooper, thank you.

Just to make a correction. Austin is not working for dreamworks. He is working for Pixar. Unless he’s been lying to me all these months, and actually lives right down the street from me.
Anyway- Yeah, Austin is to me what Batman is to Gotham City.

He deserves it though. You can tell by his great sense of design and acting that he’s good. And I’m sure Pixar is always lookin at Cal Arts for new recruits.
