Audio Interview: Shane Glines
Hey everyone, today we’re talking with Shane Glines. You may have seen some of his character design work in “Superman”, “Justice League”, or “Samurai Jack”.
You can download my interview with Shane HERE.
In addition to his personal website, Shane also runs Cartoon Retro, the world’s largest online archive of vintage illustration, animation, comics and cartoons.
If you like Shane’s work, you may want to pick up a copy of “S CURVES • The Art of Shane Glines”.
I hope you enjoy the interview. If you have anyone you would like to hear interviewed on Channel Frederator, send us your suggestions!

Shane is probably my favorite living atist. I get weak kneed and sweaty when i see his art. Did I just say that out loud?

Nothing cons artists into thinking I’ve got good taste as hanging original Shane Glines art in my office.

I think I owe Shane (and Lynne Naylor) a dollar for every girlie drawing I’ve ever done, ’cause I’m heavily influenced by their styles!

The audio link doesn’t work. I’m sad.

I love Shane’s artwork and would LOVE to hear the interview…but the link is broken and the Frederator empire of blogs, websites, awards, videos and podcasts is FAR to complex for me to navigate with any degree of success. So, a little help?

Hey guys, I’m not sure what happened (I think some files got moved on the server or something), but the interview link is fixed now. Sorry about that!
