“This butt’s for you” or “I’ll sue the ass off you”

You may or may not have heard about Adult Swim’s new show “Assy McGee”. Basically, it’s about a detective who is an ass. Not in the Andy Sipowicz way, but in the “you’re sitting on it right now” way.

Well, apparently the creators of “Mr. McMahon’s Kiss My Ass” cartoon, which just started on WWE.com, haven’t heard of the show. At least what they’re saying.

According to ProWrestling.com, the creators of the animated series “Assy McGee” have a filed a lawsuit against WWE over the “Mr. McMahon’s Kiss My Ass” cartoon, which debuted recently on WWE.com. “Assy McGee” is an animated sitcom featuring Assy McGee, a vigilante police officer who is literally a walking pair of buttocks. The series premiered on November 26, 2006 for the Cartoon Network’s late-night “Adult Swim” block.

I think the real loser here (besides the audiences that will watch these, or the thousands of other shows that go unproduced) is Gerald Scarfe.

Gerald Scarfe’s talking (and singing) ass from 1982’s Pink Floyd “The Wall” feature was awesome.

While his ass came first, it’s not mentioned in the suit. Maybe on purpose, as the animation and symbolism it displays are far superior than those of the asses working today.

The article’s assertions are baseless. To even call the piece an ‘article’ is a stretch. Vince McMahon has been doing the ass gag in the ring for years now. The WWE cartoon launched prior to Assy McGee and while they both feature asses, they are as different as Mickey Mouse and Mighty Mouse.

Oh and we love the The Wall! And Scarfe!
