"Warranty and Warranty Extensions<br />Every complete ModBook solution purchased through Other World Computing (OWC) includes a 1 year OWC warranty and can be extended to up to 3 years. To learn more about OWC warranty coverage or to purchase the optional 2 year OWC warranty extension, please visit OWC’s web store www.macsales.com"<br /><br />OWC's been around for a while, and I don't think they'll be gone within 3 years. Apple won't sue Axiotron. They have no reason to. It'd be like Ford suing Saleen for modding their cars; it makes no sense to punish people who love your product when you're seeing the sales anyways.

I think you're right Jim. Seems like it'd be a pretty nifty lil' gadget to have, especially if you're a Machead!

It mimics what happens when you tilt a pencil to it's side and get a wider line or if you tilt it straight up and you get a thinner line.

Well now that's pretty cool! I had heard of this a few weeks ago. I don't think the tilt missing will cause much trouble either as I have found that Photoshop doesn't play nice with Tablets no matter how you slice it. It's ok, but there are far cheaper and far more efficient programs that do a much better job of enhancing your 'paper-like' feel experience. For instance Autodesk's SketchBook Pro beats the ever livin' crap out of Photoshop for sketching and ArtRage pummels it with respect to painting as well. I hardly need the tilt function on my Tablet PC but I do use the pressure all the time! I do wonder about how the company managed to do this though. Apple is so careful with their products and I wonder if we'll see a lawsuit pending in the next few weeks. IF so, the warranty might disappear if the company goes under and you KNOW Apple won't support it which would leave you a bit in the dark.

Thats a good theory. I wondered the same thing tho- maybe I should get my hands on one before that day comes lol. There might not be a lawsuit tho. Apple makes money off of every single device sold. Without them buying the macbook from Apple they have no product and seeing as tho many people want this device apple makes money off it. The need to buy many macbooks and as long as people keep wanting this device, theyre going to need to keep buying macbooks
