Too Art for TV, Too

April 19th, 2007

I was recently CC’ed on an e-mail where our fellow blogger Steve Levinson expressed his disappointment in the lack of screenings and animation events here in New York. Well, New York, you’re about to get some lovin’!
On Friday, May 4th, hightail it over to B-town to the Stay Gold Gallery. At 7pm, the Too Art for TV, Too exhibition opens. This exhibit is one of the rare opportunities for artists exclusively in the animation industry to show their skills. Last year’s exhibit included everything from toys, to paper cutout montages, to oil paintings, and more and attracted more than 200 people at the opening. This year’s opening is expected to attract an even bigger crowd and is sure to be a who’s who of the New York animation scene.
So make sure you New Yorkers schedule Too Art for TV, Too into your calendars. I’ll be looking for you there! - Carrie
