Jeff DeGrandis is one of the great, passionate, flesh & blood characters who populate the cartoon biz (and I do mean “cartoons” –his customary sign-off is Your cartoon pal not Your animation friend). I’ve been lucky enough to work with him recently on his short, The Finster Finster Show.
For those of you who may never get a chance to meet him, Flip Animation has written a long overdue profile of Jeff. Enjoy getting to know about his fervor for dragsters.

I am proud to say that Jeff is an amazing friend of mine and the most animated person I know. He’s what I always pictured as a kid what people in animation where like. Crazy, fun and full of imaginative energy. I think we can all learn from guys like Jeff to keep that child like quality to what we do everyday in animation. Keep up the great work my friend.

Yeah Jeff is a great guy. He’s always so happy and I think there’s a lesson in that, at least there has been for me over the years. I’ve known Jeff since waaaaay back in the days of Animaniacs (1992?)when he directed the Great Wakkoratti and he has always been kind, friendly and funny in addition to being a super draftsman and artist. Always good to see what you’re up to Jeff! See you at the finish line!
