Dramatic animation

Animation is a lot more than fart gags and talking dogs. Some of the most powerful animation, and perhaps the toughest for the animator to pull off, is drama. While story and music are important to setting the mood and helping to build the dramic moment, it’s up to the animator to sell the piece with the acting of the characters. What is your favorite dramatic moment in animation?

I don’t about dramatic moment of all time but I just watched the stop motion film, Peter and The Wolf and it’s chock full of drama.
