The Angry Characters: Where did they go?

Remember when your dad would get madder and madder until he lost it and then made a fool of himself? I do. Maybe that’s why Donald Duck is such a fun character for me. I’m not talking about modern day Donald. That guy has had some mandatory anger management classes or something. I’m talking about the older, angrier Donald.
There used to be a lot of these angry outbursts from characters. Gaby Goat was a guy who would often fly off the handle.
It seems like all the angry characters have mellowed out. Any angry outbursts are short and quickly followed by an apology or something. Why do you think this is? In “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”, I like when Grumpy tells one of the other dwarfs to “shut up”.
Do you have a favorite angry character moment?

Daffy Duck got angry a lot. That was cool. He would do something stupid and get angry and then he’d do something more stupid and just get angrier. If find myself doing that in my workshop in the basement. I have a Daffy Duck streak in me (along with being mechanically inept).

“Where did all the angry characters go?”… You clearly haven’t read my What A Prikk script/pitch bible. Prikk is a VERY angry character at that

Dude, and Squidward in Spongebob. He’s always angry.

Yeah, but Squidward’s just annoyed, he doesn’t fly off the handle. he’s complacently aware of his annoyance and yells and stuff sometimes. but nothing comparing to donald or daffy going outright insane. I love the chip and dale/donald cartoons, he gets so pissed in them.
