I had relatively low expectations because I thought that it was an Over the Hedge or something. I like Jack Black but I had seen so many of the gags in the TV promos on nickelodeon that I didn't expect to see too much that was new. So, my expectations were exceeded both because there were a few more gags than I had seen and the animation was at times just spectacular. Some of the best cartoon animation I have ever seen - gorgeous backgrounds, inspired character movement - much of the movies was a visual delight. So, to have a great experience, be a Jack Black fan and think Ice Age 2.

I did think it was funny that both Angelina Jolie and Seth Rogan got decent billing on this and they had a baker's dozen lines between them. And not once did I think that it was Angelina Jolie so star power money was wasted.

Saw it last night and I really liked it. It's actually beautiful to look at and very funny (without any pop culture references...ahhhh). Jack Black and Dustin Hoffman are great. Plus, the kung fu action is kick ass. Skidoosh!

It's terrific.
The best mainstream animated feature I've seen for a long time (although I liked Horton a lot too).

I enjoyed Panda quite a bit. I LOVED the 2D sequences! There were parts that could have been developed more, but overall it was a good flick.
