Radical Cute

After some cute searching I came across this Russian Animated cartoon called Smeshariki. It is supposed to be for kids but the story feels a little adult to me.

In case you’ve somehow missed out on the internet flash-toon sensation that is Weebl, now is the time to get aquainted with his always cuddly and consistently bizarre cartoons. His shorts range from the innocently random Lard man (pictured above) to the disturbing yet hilarious Mr. Stabby.

Not sure how cute this is, but it sure is funny. Talented illustrator Noah Z. Jones has created a site called Almost Naked Animals which is being developed with 9 Story Entertainment for an animation series. Check out the site and find out what kind of animal wears what kind of underwear along with their likes and dislikes. Which animal can you most relate with? I think I could hang out with the Narwhale because we both like strong drinks!

In a perversely cute twist on art-imitating art, this little animated kitty from Japan is determined to be a great stop-motion filmmaker. In her five shorts available through YouTube, in which she makes a little film with her way-too cute models, Komaneko wins our Radical Cute hearts.
