Holy ChumMania!
Hello all! Yes Tis I! Your pal Eric here with some more Fanboy goodies. Last time I put up a Fanboy before and after so naturally it makes sense to put up his loyal companion “Chum Chum”. Well the first model that was done in CG was Fanboy and it was a bit tough but thank God I had Eric Shveima on my side to build these guys and keep that cool look to them. Fanboy went through a few revisions till we got him right but the second time around when we were to build Chum Chum I figured that the best way for me to show Eric exactly what I wanted was to sculpt the figure with clay so he could have all the information in front of him. So I went ahead and built a maquette of Chum Chum. I had a fun time with this guy because there is so much life to the character so sculpting him was a blast. Well here are some models and junk for all to enjoy. Once again thanks Eric Shveima for all the great work on the CG models. Till next time POW! I’m out!

Hey Eric, the characters looks funny and I am excited to see it come out in CG since not many of these shorts will be in CG. I have nothing against non CG, if it has good design and good story, then it doesn’t matter what kind of medium is being used. Your sculpting skills are very good. One question, where is the CG going to be done?and how soon will we see some animation? I can’t wait. This show will rock!!!

Sup Bud! Hey man, thanks for checking in. I feel the same way about the CG vs. 2D. This is my first show in CG so I’m just crossing my fingers that all will kick A@& in the end. We have decided on a studio but I’m not sure I could say just yet until all the signatures are signed but it’s going to be done here in the Great US of A baby! Later.

Hi, Bud. I think five of our shorts this season will be feature CG work, whether in total or part. In Eric’s case, I hope the ultimate result will be half as cool as his 2D designs like Chum Chum above. Like always, his designs for this short are the definition of solid and expressive. He’s off to such a great start with Fanboy, he better not screw it up. If he knows what’s good for him, that is.

Hey Eric Homan,
I didn’t know that there were those many CG on the plates. Which ones have CG in it? I just know that Six monster has the one segment that is CG, and Solomon Fix. I couldn’t see any other on the blog. I can’t wait until Random Cartoon airs, I will Tivo it.
And for Eric Robles, I am glad the short will be done in the Great US of A!!! Looking forward to seeing more stuff from Fan Boy.

Wow, cool stuff!! The sketches of Chum Chum look so amazing! So much dimension in it and so greatly detailed! I wished alot more cartoons were designed with as much volume and dimension as your character chum chum is in those sketches!

Wow! That maquette is hot Eric! So is the 3D guy. Isn’t this technically your 2nd 3D thingy as you designed all the characters for Pet Alien as well! Anyway it’s gonna be a great cartoon.
