First Recording
March 20th, 2008
Well, the production of Fanboy and Chum Chum held its very first recording ever this morning and it was great fun for all involved. Sorry, but Nickelodeon has let us know it’s not okay to show any pictures or mention the cast members’ names. It should be okay, though, to report the session was lead by voice director Ms Ginny McSwain, who also handled the chore on the seven-minute “Fanboy” short which Nick seems to have misplaced. We’ve also worked with Ginny on ChalkZone and Ape Escape. Ginny’s right (or, in this case, left)-hand man in the direction was head writer Steve Tompkins. Our recordings are set for every Wednesday morning. Hopefully, I’ll get to share some photos and information real soon.

Wow! I woke up that morning at 5PM with nothing to do but hear my Bulldog snore in the darkness. I was so excited and I’m still in a bit of a daze that this is all really happening. The recording started with a table read where we did the meet and greet and it seemed so strange that everyone was so super excited. The table read went flawless. The most surreal part was having everyone reading the lines that Steve and I have been reading for weeks on our own, only now the real Fanboy, Chum Chum, Oz and Boog were actually saying the words out loud. Amazing! So much more to tell but I need to get to work. Thanks to all who were involved,

lol… they might have just put a “do not touch unless ur recording” sign of some sort…
i’d lol if they did put a huge passive-aggressive sign of some sort… XD
but YEAH!!! new toon!
