Throughout the past few weeks, we’ve gotten a couple of emails and blog comments asking how Fanboy and Chum Chum is performing in the ratings department. I’ve avoided blogging about the numbers – I mean, after all, the series has been on the air just nine weeks. However, I think I can speak for all involved that we’re well chuffed with the amount of viewers the show has been consistently piling up since its November 6 premiere.

The ratings have been great. We were thrilled when more kids watched Fanboy’s debut than any other premiere in Nickelodeon’s history, yet we kept in the back of our mind how a monster SpongeBob special along with the might of the Nickelodeon promotional machine helped us out on that front.
