The main title, nominated for a Daytime Emmy

If Steve and Caesar winning juried Daytime Emmy Awards for Individual Achievement in Animation weren’t enough, Fanboy and Chum Chum is now nominated in two competitive categories, too. First, directors Jim Schumann and Brian Sheesley, along with voice director Ginny McSwain, are in the race for Directing in an Animated Program. Their competitors are all on Nick shows - Mighty B!, SpongeBob, and Penguins. I’d like them all to win, but I want the Fanboy team to win more.

Then there’s the nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Main Title and Graphic Design. This goes to a whole group of folks, comprising:

The competition here is Sesame Street, The Electric Company, and Avec Eric.

The Daytime Emmy Awards will air live on CBS on Sunday, June 27th from Lost Wages, Nevada.
