Hey, remember the Comic-Con poster the network wouldn’t let us show until after Comic-Con? Well, here it is in all it Frosty Freezy Freeze glory.
Eric Robles and Eddie Trigueros designed the poster. Patrick Krebs and Chad Woods took care of the lighting and color after Michael Franceschi and Jason Meier worked on the CG poses.

So way back at the beginning of production, Eric and his crew produced a series of short Fanboy promos to tease the show. The gang worked pretty hard on them, but, to the best of my knowledge, the clips never aired. The characters evolved a bit between the time they were made and when they were scheduled to air, so maybe that’s why. Here’s the first. Eric and Andy Kelly handled the storyboard, and Brian Sheesley directed.

How excited would you be to see your first show advertised in Times Square? If you’re Eric Robles, the answer is very.
This clip is from last week when Eric, Nickelodeon executive-in-charge Megan Casey, and executive producer/story editor Steve Tompkins flew to the Big Apple to sing and dance for the folks at the Nick home office. Here are Megan, Steve, and Eric with executive producer Fred Seibert at the frame-filled Frederator office on South Park Avenue.
Everyone played nice till one of the executive producers demanded Eric rename the lead character Fredboy.

Here’s a quick Nick promotional spot featuring Chum Chum.
A couple of notes.
First, while the ad says the Fanboy and Chum Chum premiere is Saturday, November 7, this week’s Nickelodeon press release says it’s Friday, November 6. The truth is a different half-hour episode will debut each of those days, at 9:00 p.m. on Friday and at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday (the latter being the show’s regular timeslot).
Secondly, in the the episode “The Janitor Strikes Back”, Chum Chum’s telling Kyle his friend, Yum Yum, farts bubbles. Here, though, the promo department switched the audio to Chum Chum’s saying that he himself, in fact, is the bubble farter. I don’t know why. Just don’t be disappointed when you tune in and Chum Chum isn’t passing gas in the manner you’d come to expect.
