Here’s a whole lot of Lambe, Steve Lambe, for you. This seagull can be seen in many Fanboy episodes. The process of bringing it to screen started with Steve’s color concept below and went on to include the turnaround, expressions, and mouth chart, all from the hand of Lambe. If that weren’t enough, Steve then went on to compile a series of notes to help out the CG department in the animation of the bird’s feathers. The final image above got the painting treatment of Mr Chris Near. For a quick glimpse of the seagull in flight, watch the NOT FINAL version of the main title right here.
Fanlair Pirate Ship and Trench

A few images of the pirate ship - built as part of the Fanlair roof - made by the gang in episode #135, “Fanboy Ahoy!” The concept up top is from Steve Lambe. Below we see a compilation of images straight from Tom King’s storyboard. Beneath that is Caesar Martinez’s design. At the bottom is some color work by Chad Woods.
