Flavio

Here’s Flavio’s friend and co-worker Mr. Frank.
I picture him as a young Jim Ignatowski (from the classic show Taxi if you never heard of him).
He’s a few pockets short of a pool table.

I know Fred already posted this on his blog, but I figured I should post it here on the Flavio blog as well so it’s all in one happy little place.
This is Flavio’s turn-around. It’s rough and eventually it’ll be cleaned up but for now it works.
Seeing as Flavio has his mouth cocked on the side it was a bit of a cheat to get him to be able to turn to the side. I’m still not sure I won’t tweak it and make him always have a mouth on the side of his face, even in the SIDE view. Of course it really doesn’t matter as in the film you never see Flavio from the side anyway.

So my cartoon is #37 and it’s called Flavio!
This is the blog that Flavio lives in and I will try to update it with shtuff as time permits.

Flavio is a very personal cartoon for me and Eric Homan has even told me that I am Flavio. In a lot of ways it’s true!

You can’t tell but I am so happy I am curled in a little ball right now and sucking my thumb…
