Karl’s post on Ratzafratz got me thinking about my favorite toys and so Idecided to post here about it. My favorite toys were called The Outer Space Men and they were manufactered by Colorforms. I also loved Major Matt Mason too.
What does this have to do with Flavio?
Well.. I figure that playing with these toys developed my imagination and without these toys I never would have been able to imagine an idea like Flavio so in a way these toys are partly responsible. At first I was going to leave it up to chance but the more I thought about it there are a lot of ways to interpret Flavio’s eyes and the “Dot-eyed” character in general so I decided to make a chart.

Basically I figure I should for the most part always have Flavio blink when going from one eye pose to another so the eyes don’t oddly slide across the head
(unless of course that’s intended like in a slow stare.)

I also wanted to show how he should blink because of the line above his eyes and how that turns into a lid so there will be no nasty surprises when I get the Work Print back.
