Flavio BG test

Here’s the first pass at the color style for Flavio and I gotta say I’m diggin’ it! My friend Maurice has done a fantastic job!
That’s all vector BTW… totally Flash, and even though we’re not doing the film in Flash, with the bg’s being vector it’ll be easy to resize etc for the overseas studio and hopefully be easier to keep them all consistant.
I do have a few small notes like the request to make the sky be a gradient and to ‘dirty it up” a bit so the bg isn’t soooo squeaky clean. Any one that’s ever been to Jersey City (which is loosely where I picture Flavio lives)will tell you it ain’t that clean there. Lastly I’m going to have him make the Forget Aboutit be in black so it ‘pops’ better and add the word “Pizza” above the awning.

Btw, I just noticed. On that thing thats ontop of the door and the windows with the green and white and red, theres a little bump where the dark green meets the grey, where they grey meets the dark red, and where the dark red meets the grey line. You should convert that line into a shape and fix up that bump. Try and fix as many bumps as possible. It’ll make it look nicer. If you need help with it, send it my way and I’ll be glad to fix that for you.

Thanks Manny! I wish it was going slower honestly. It’s almost over. *sniff* I’m supposed to get sheets tomorrow. Not much to do after that. *sniff* God, how I love to make cartoons.
