Here’s a few more Flavio bgs. Sorry I haven’t posted lately but I am knee deep in finishing the film and I’ve only got two weeks left and there is tons more to do!

Dude, those are awesome. Are they all in Flash? I’ve been swamped and haven’t been able to post any responses to anyone or updates. Your show looks like a real cartoon already! Really beautiful BG’s!

Hey Manny! I was wondering where you went to! Glad to see you back! Yeah these are all Flash. glad you like them! It’s good to be swamped. this from a guy who’s unemployed and looking as of next Friday :-(
Where’s your show at now?

We are just about to cut an animatic. BG painters and designers are being lined up.

We had a minor tornado hit my town in NJ last week and I lost power for 4 days and it will be about a month before I have cable and internet back. It was the most ridiculously isolated tornado I have ever heard of. It’s called a “microburst” and it seemingly only affected my township. It literally felt like someone held a giant bowl over our town in order to isolate the destruction and I could have sworn Dorothy’s house flying around outside my window. A ton of giant trees fell down, but we escaped with our lives and minor property damage thankfully.

WHAT!?!?!? A tornado in JERSEY!?!? You’ve GOT to be #@&*# kidding me! I lived there for 24 years of my life and we never had one of those! What the %^$&@# is going on!?!? Well I’m very sorry to hear that man… I mean what are the odds? Either way, I can’t wait to see more of the Bronk & Bongo’s art!

I was just as surprised as you. I’ve never heard of this so called “micro burst” before, but it seemed like the end of the world. I called my friend during it becausehe lives in Hackensack, 35 minutes from us and all he got was a bit of rain. I was like “What the hell?!” The next day in the news they said it was pretty much isolated to just our township. Crazy shizznizzle.

Click your heels twice and say “There’s no place like home, There’s no place like home” and it will alllll go away! Works for me! Ok, well not really, but a six pack of Rolling Rock, some Zingers and a bag of Cheese Doodles works wonders anyway. ;-)

THIS IS AMAZING!!! AHH!!! THIS ROCKS!!!!

you too man!

Thanks Stephen! Nice seeing you at the Comic Con!

Ick! That sink reminds me of one of my high school jobs as a dish washer at a local bakery. The crud you find at the bottoms of those things when the water runs out is unbelievable. These backgrounds look great.

Believe me I know… My dad was a chef for many years before he retired and he owned the consession at a lot of Industrial catering places like Coke and Pepsi and Lipton in Joisey. I washed dishes from the time I was about 14 until I was done with art school. Sinks and I have an intimate relationship and I made sure Maurice got the ickyness just right so as to share it with everyone. :-D One of the worst things that ever happened to me was when they brought back a big pot of mashed potatoes for me to wash out. Well they didn’t tell me that they were still hot and I stuck my hand all the way in up to my elbow to start cleaning them out, not realizing that the starch from the potatoes was going to prevent the burn from going away because they were too sticky to wipe off quickly. Man it was like thrusting my arm into lava that I could not rub off. Good times!

The worst dish washing incident that happened to me was to have about a quarter inch piece of rock solid burnt sugar slice up underneath my ring fingernail as I was scrubbing a pot. Ouch!

YOWTCH! That IS nasty!

Those BGs look fantasic man. Wow.

Hey thanks Raul!
