Hey Mike,

Thanks for posting this. I see where Flavio gets his ingenuity from. Chip off the old block! ;)
Now I have to start designing a cartoon character and search for some of these materials. Oh, and I need to find some spare time. Anybody know where I can get some of that? lol
Thanks again.
Oh, and if people start making their own figures, post some pics!

No worries, man... I guess I was just in a "poor pitiful me" mood the other day. I'm cool now... The voices in my head are telling me it's a Happy Place Day! YAY! ;-) Anyway, my nick email no longer works so if you want to email me you can do it at milowerx[AT]socal[DOT]rr[DOT]com and if you ever need sculpting done let me know!

Hey Mike, you have really inspired me. I never would have thought of the bandages to soften the wire frame body...smart! And to answer your question, the maquettes I had made were for some other characters of mine, way before Bronk and Bongo. Although I'm considering having them made as well. I'd do it myself but I'm just not too good a scultpor. Wish I had some work to send your way. Sorry. You still have the same e-mail right?

Thanks Jeff! Yeah it is a pretty cool way to make a toy. If I could figure out Injection Foam molding, I could make a REAL toy with it. Anyway, I look forward to seeing you stuff!

Ha Ha Art! Yeah Flavio and I are different peels off the same banana for sure. Spare time? Ha! Nope don't know WHERE to buy some of that! The rest is fairly easy. Not sure where you're located but here in L.A. Michaels and JoAnne Fabrics both had all I needed as well as Continental Art Supply in Reseda. I beleive you can get to all three online as well.
