Jim Arnoff was my agent about 15 years ago, and he’s had quite a career as a lawyer, agent, and now, Professor at SVA, one of the great art colleges in New York.
A couple of weeks ago I had one of my usual great times at the occaissional drop-ins at Jim’s class where he tries to give his students a sense of what to expect on the business side of cartoons. We talked about pitches, Frederator shorts, and why I think they should mostly move to Hollywood.
