Wow, Fred this is so interesting. Seeing as how I was lucky enough to be involved in the first round of your cartoons (albiet my crappy endeavors) I love hearing about how it all went down. So cool! Thank you so much for taking a chance on all of us artists. True we may not all be businessmen and may be a bit unorthodox in our work behavaiors, but you have proved we have the ability to make great cartoons without focus groups and endless 'testing' which I believe kills the process in many ways. IF Looney Tunes had been focus group tested we NEVER would have seen Elmer and his guns, Bugs cross-dressing, gremlins pulling planes apart, Daffy drinking tequila, Foghorn jamming a firecracker in the Dog's mouth or Sylvester getting his tail chopped off. All VERY funny moments in cartoons. MAybe I'm biased (and I probably am) but I think you hit the nail right on the head!

I love reading the history, Fred. Thanks for posting it. Brian and I take great pride in being a little part of it. You're ahead of your time and always have been. I can't wait to see what you come up with next, and whatever it is, I know for sure, we'll be kickin' to be a part of that too. Thanks again!

Thanks Russ, though I should state the blindingly obvious: it's not me that's ahead of my time, but you, Brian, and the rest of the great creators who are just *on* time. I'm the one who's lucky enough to know all of you talented filmmakers and to be around to help out. Thanks.

Wow Fred, it's been a long road to get where you are today. As an artist I am extremely grateful for what you've done. If more people thought like you the world would be a funnier and more entertaining place. Get well soon amigo!
