Surgery Girl on the Slow

Well, after I picked the PERFECT “surgery girl” outfit, and headed out to the “Motion Pictures and Television Hospital” for my knee surgery yesterday, I was informed that I would be sporting a very fashion-forward potato sack with a matching chapaeu and couture booties instead. I posed for the camera, so all could enjoy my new look.

Designing it up!

Well, I did a pass over the previous “girls” design I had posted a while back…Mr. Levinson will be happy to see that the designs are more “9th grade ready”…
Since auditions are tomorrow, I also whipped up some design ideas for a couple of the other key players in this particular episode of “GOG”. Enjoy!

Revisions Galore!

I thought I would share the revision to the storyboard page, from an earlier post of mine (see previous version here.)
In this new version, we get to see the shot from Kat’s point of view and focus on Tess’s expression, until the final shot were we see the both of them together. My older vesion also had a “jump cut”, meaning, the panel before was too similar to the one coming next (not pictured), so it would have caused the camera to look like it “jumps.” My director, Randy Myers pointed this out to me..so now, not only do I get rid of the “jump cut”, but I also have a more interesting camera shot.

I think my favorite thing about working on these cartoons is how much I get to learn from my directors. THANK YOU RANDY! (and Jun, who directed my other show, “Yaki and Yumi.

I am currently blowing through my storyboard, addressing notes, and making revisions…and here, on the floor, lays a pile of drawings that were either cut/not working/or not necessary anymore…
