Surgery Girl on the Slow
Well, after I picked the PERFECT “surgery girl” outfit, and headed out to the “Motion Pictures and Television Hospital” for my knee surgery yesterday, I was informed that I would be sporting a very fashion-forward potato sack with a matching chapaeu and couture booties instead. I posed for the camera, so all could enjoy my new look. 
After surgery, as I came out of my anesthetic fog, my photographer couldn’t help but jump into the shot himself as he captured the moment.
Btw…apparantly, the tear in my knee was much worse than it showed in the MRI..the doctor told my family that it was a good thing I did this now, because I wouldn’t have had much longer on this knee as it was. Thanks to everyone at Frederator who supported me in doing this now.

I hope you feel better really soon, Aliki! My sister had knee surgery 2 summers ago and she had to do the family trip to Hawaii on crutches! Overall, she had a speedy recovery and I hope you do too! —I love Girls on the Go!

Here I am catching up on the all the haps on Frederator, and I came accross this picture. I just saw you walking the other day and would have never guessed you had knee surgery recently. Well, I hope the knee is better. And, the progression of your show, Yaki and Yumi is great! And congrats on the new one too…who’s Dan Schier now?-she thinks back…

aliki - love the Girls on the Go! I’ve been watching animated programs with my son for years and always felt there wasn’t enough of a voice for girls out there (only 2 that I can think of off the top of my head). I can’t wait to see more of this.

Oh yea, and good luck on your surgery (had mine in 2000). You’ll be sooooo glad you did when you are done healing!
