The Infinite Goliath demanded I type up a status report of his cartoon.
Mike trimmed some cartoon fat Friday while putting together the hi-larious animatic.
Now “The Infinite Goliath” has left his virtual confines of Frederator HQ in Burbank for the exotic locale of Glendale and Renegade Animation.
Background guru (and former “Silver Sala” golf champion) Brad Gake has been busy designing the grouchy goliath’s world. Both Mike and I have been blown away by the cool stuff Brad’s come up with.
Here’s a peek into Golaith’s domain before his cat, Mr. Bobo, gets a hold of it:

I’m quite partial to the space-themed etchings hanging on the walls.

The absolutely hilarious performances of Kevin Michael Richardson,
Scott Bullock, and Alana Ubach this past friday afternoon has left the Infinite Goliath in a rare jubilant mood! Because of their efforts, the Infinite Goliath has been inspired to spare the lives of both “Gray” and “Knutson!”…at least for another week.

I am hard at work trying to finish up the script & storyboard by January 24th trying to make sure it comes in at the dreaded 6 minutes 40 seconds (so we can record on the 27th and ship the board of to Renegade Studios to begin production!), and Erik is toiling away at some fantastic character turnarounds! Erik and I have chosen our cast, and are extremely happy with them!:

Friday was voice audition day for “The Infinite Goliath.” Mike (on the phone from the Bay Area) and I (in studio) came away from the experience ecstatic.
Big thanks go to Meredith, our casting director, for making things run so smoothly. She translated our rambling driections into some inspired auditions from the actors. Mike and I came away with a dream cast for our lil’ cartoon show.
I can’t wait for the record!

The Infinite Goliath merchandising train officially left the station on Christmas. My mom surprised me with this Hondo (aka Hairy Guy) paperweight as the best gift this year. (That and a copy of “Jingle All the Way” ). Thanks, Mom.

The Infinite Goliath has been displeased by the lack of posting on his blog by his henchmen (Mike and I). So here’s some doodles of the Goliath’s old super-villian team “The Five Fingers of Fear!”
They make a cameo in this cartoon. Just long enough for Dr. Carnage to utter, “Infinite Goliath, is that you?”
Oh, the hairy guy’s not really named “Hairy Guy.” I just can’t ever remember his name. Maybe it’s “Hondo?”

From the subterranean depths of the Infinite Goliath’s lair (well, his TV room), production has begun on the Infinite Goliath’s return to world domination through animation.
Mike’s handling the storyboards. I’m taking care of some preliminary character design stuff right now.
I was playing around with some old-fashion collage and caught Goliath yelling at his self-absobed cat, Mr. Bobo. Mr. Bobo’s the only creature in a thousand galaxies that can truly get the best of the Infinite Goliath.
