In Elvish, please
I thought it would be fun to show a now-then kinda thing. I used to draw fantasy characters all the time, so I dug up a cel I made at age 13 with an elf leading a horse. I have no idea where I got the acetate but I remember painting the back with tempura paints and I had to use several coats to get it to become opaque. (At 15 I discovered Cartoon Colour Co. in Culver City and got the ‘real thing’) I even painted the background. I remember thinking how cool it looked at the time. Like a fictional frame from my own movie! In my head! 
Hmm, this elf needs some anatomy lessons, but boy was I good at horses! Must be a…girl thing…

This is soo great! I think you drew hands pretty well for a 13 year old too! Sheesh! I will ask my mom to bring something with her this weekend (all my kid stuff is in her garage).

Man! That’s awesome. Much better than I was at 13! Right around then all I drew was naked girls and cars. I was a sad twisted child.

Maybe because you were taking a riding lessons at at age, ‘member? Then you’ve got horse allergy and force to quit. But you were drawing horse after horse and made a
short animation film of a horse gallopping.
I thought that it was absolutely fantastic at that age!!

I also, sadly, drew girls. The big boobs in the tight shirt/dress/whatever I happened to be designing. Unfortunately, I sucked at anatomy, but the clothes were pretty!
