What do a bathroom, a cat, and water sealed hands have to do with toys!?

Well, I’ll tell you! Sorry I’ve been MIA lately, but all last week I was renovating our bathroom while I had some time off before I started a new job this week! WooHoo!

So, here was my supervisor for the renovation….

She would sit in the hall staring at me, or she would sit on the toilet and stare, waiting for me to put the sink back in. My furry friend there enjoys sitting in the sink and drinking from the faucet. But, what about the toys!? Well, as a thanks for doing the bathroom - and for putting the floor tiles at an angle instead of horizontal - my wife gave me a cool Indiana Jones Lego set! (Yes, my wife is pretty amazing and an enabler for my toy craze)

The set is a very cool one, it comes with Indy, his Dad, two motorcycles(one with a sidecar), and a random Nazi to chase them. And it is kinda tricky putting Legos together when your hands are water sealed from all the clear caulking I put down for the tiles!

As you can see the Jones’s are pretty cool. Indy’s got his whip, his hat, and his scruffy face. I really love how they get the little Lego heads to look like the characters! If you haven’t checked out the Star Wars sets - be sure to go see em!

Here’s the random Nazi on a bike - driving haphazardly over the toll booth gate.

The motorcycles are pretty cool - they were in two pieces plus the wheels. The old motorcycles were just solid pieces. These have a lot of nice detail and the sidecar is fun! Hey, it even comes with a flag for the older kids (that have seen the movie) to re-enact Indy’s jousting moves on the random Nazi - sweet!

So, as Indy and his father drive off to Berlin to get the diary back, they’re reminding you to all go and get your figures out of their packages!! P.S. - that is our new sink and faucet as the backdrop in the pics
