This project’s a pain. But a good kind of pain, I guess. The logistics are a bit overwhelming. Today’s pitch represented the work of the short’s creators, 2800 miles away, and individual segment creators in three different states – guys whose day jobs are at Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Disney, and two other studios. Three different directors. Three different media: traditional; Flash; and CG. Eight separate storyboards. Worst of all, the conference room’s speakerphone was on the fritz throughout the pitch. I’m friggen dizzy. In any event, this afternoon’s meeting was a huge step toward the realization of this cartoon experiment. Thanks to all involved.
