More early MooBeard fun!
Here’s some more fun from the archives. At one point, I considered doing MooBeard as a comic book. This little sample panel is all I did. It was going to be an intro story about Sailor Bird meeting MooBeard on his last day working at Lady Bovine’s Snorgg Burgers and Krogg just before he buys the pirate tugboat and starts his life of piracy. They were going to hold pirate tryouts to get the rest of the crew. It’s still a story I’d like to tell someday.

Oh! I never knew MooBeard as a comic- good idea though! I especially like the “shooting the breeze” expression on MooBeard and the umbrella in the (Krogg?) Was that before they started serving it in mugs?

well, i don’t think dismemberment *always* leads to piracy…sometimes you become a super villian…

Those mugs always seem to lead to piracy, y’ask me! They keep popping up in Pirate Monkeys.. even when I don’t mean them to!
