“Eureka!”
A professor of theoretical quantum physics becomes frustrated with the ultimate questions of life, the universe and everything. But sometimes inspiration can come from strange places…
Says filmmaker Parrish Ley, “Hi! How are you? That’s great. I’m Parrish. It’s really nice to meet you. Growing up, I was what people would call, ‘That art nerd’. But, it was cool because I was. I worked at the local comic store and spent my free time watching cartoons, playing video games, and endlessly sketching on any scrap piece of paper that happened to be within my pouncing-distance. I’ve always loved the art of animation and could never picture doing anything else. I studied animation at Sheridan College where I produced my short, Eureka!. I hope you enjoyed my film.”
This film actually reminds me of this story I just read today in the New York Times.
“Eureka!” premiers on Episode 4 of the Nicktoons Newtork Animation Festival, Monday August 28 2006 at 10PM EST/7PM PST.
Thanks Parrish!
