Quando é Wishology vir ao Brasil?

May 5th, 2009

Wishology in Brazil

From an international fan:

“excuse me, my name is priscilla and i’m a fairly oddparents’ fan, please, i just wanted to know when the wishology movie will appear in brazil, do you know? i’m waiting anxiously! :)”

Well, Priscilla, your wish is our command. Rich Magallanes, our crack Nickelodeon FOP exec, got right on the case and found out that Wishology is scheduled in Brazil for this summer, August 2009*. We’ve got no more exact dates for you right now, but check in with your fairly odd-channel. If we get an update, we’ll post it.

By the way, American fans went crazy for Wishology this past weekend, the ratings were phenomenal. Please, let us know what Brazil thinks.

Thanks for caring.

Fred

* I promised the powers that be I’d let you know that all programming schedules are tentative and subject to change. Please, be advised.

Congratulations, Butch

Good ol’ Butch Hartman has been nominated for an Annie Award for his Fairly OddParents storyboard work on the episode “Mission: Responsible”. The awards will be handed out January 30, 2009, at UCLA. Bill Gates, Carlos Slim Helu, and Warren Buffet have each assigned teams of accountants to see how they can swing tickets, now on sale.

Welcome Back, Dave

August 19th, 2008

Dave Thomas

After spending a few years and 26 half-hours in Miracle City, Dave Thomas has returned to The Fairly OddParents fold as the show’s Storyboard Director. He’s a big part of the show’s history, too – way back in 2003, Dave won an Annie Award for his boarding of the episode, “Pipe Down”. Yesterday, to kick off yet another production season of FOP, he presented the show’s first-ever digital pitch.*

It’s great to have you back, Dave.

*In the old days, an old-fashioned paper storyboard would be pinned up and presented to the crew and the network. Now, even though the paper board still gets pinned up, every panel is scanned in and projected on the big screen, just short of an animatic.

So Nick aired “Cheese & Crockers” - not “Land Before Timmy” -  this afternoon. Let’s guess that “Land” will be shown tomorrow. Sorry for the switch. Clearly the work of anti-fairies.
