Good! I LOOOOOOVE Popeye, and loved watching the shows when I was a kid..it was the only black and white cartoon that I liked watching too. My brothers and I STILL sing "Sinbad the Sailor!"

The Fleischer Popeye cartoons are classics. Most people are unaware that Popeye was the biggest cartoon star on the 1930s -the SpongeBob of his day - bigger than Mickey Mouse (The mouse has his big moment between 1928-1933). The Popeye cartoons appealed to childen and adults -- and years later (the late 50s/early 60s) when the original cartoons were first broadcast, Popeye was a huge TV & merchandising sensation. The current owners of the character have done their best to bury the sailor... I look forward to his resurection on REFREDERATOR!

Popeye is one of the greatest characters ever. Fleischer's Popeye is maybe the only character who can beat the snot out of anyone, and be likeable the whole time doing it.
