Support Your Local Artist
As a high-powered executive, I often feel the responsibility to toss a few euros to the creative rabble in the local artistic community as a show of support. Call me a Patron of the Arts, I guess. Many, many artists have been able to scratch out an existence thanks to my generosity.

Take Amanda Visell. Please. She’s this excellently-talented gal who, along with her buddy Michelle Valigura, runs Two Girls Productions out of Pasadena. You should go to their site now, browse around, and see a bunch of great Visell artwork, including the two pieces I purchased (the pair you see above) for a song. Not only do I admire them daily hanging in my humble office here at Frederator (the paintings, that is, not the girls), having AV’s art here gives me some much-needed street-cred with the artists who stop by. Thanks, Amanda, from your biggest fan. (And when the heck are you and Michelle pitching Oh Yeah!?)

Oh, Eric Homan. Am I giving away your full name?
Eric Homan is the nicest person in LA.
How did we find you?
Inside the cold, ruthless exterior of this high-powered executive is a slightly smaller slighty warmer high-powered executive.
I’m having trouble coming up with anything sarcastic, you’re way too nice.
Thanks for everything!

Oh mighty Homan, your generosity is beyond words. If only you were as generous with the doughnuts…
Oh, and I LOVE Amanda’s art!!
