Whatever Happened To Whatever Happened To Robot Jones?

This afternoon at Nickelodeon I ran into my old, dear, dear friend Greg Miller. He created Whatever Happened to Robot Jones? for Cartoon Network. I always thought that WHTRJ? was under-appreciated. Anyhoo, he and his cartoon partner-in-crime, Mike Stern, are slaving away on something-or-other for Nick. I have no doubt that whatever these guys are cooking up, you’ll one day say, “Man, I wish we had more guys like Greg and Mike making cartoons.” Too bad it’s not for Frederator. Good luck, guys.

that show was brilliant. too bad a certain cartoon co. dove that one into the ground. i heard they let greg go after he refused to change the little bot’s voice from the awesome Simple Text robot style to that of a human little boy that sounded like he was speaking thru a vacuum tube. But that’s prolly just a rumor and maybe i’m talking out of my ass thru a vacuum tube as well.
man, that show was good. Paul Stec also worked on that show right?
Take care Eric! See you soon.

Whatever did happen to robot jones? I remmember watching it and seeing it on tv for like only a week and then it was gone. I didnt like it very much, too much scribbles it didnt seem like a serious cartoon. The characters were badly animated cause the lines were all scribbly and the backgrounds looked like they took 5 min to make.. Mabye if they re-did the style and gave it a better story plot im sure itd be good. -Steve

i hated that kid voice too, and was really suprised when they went so far as to add the voice to the old episodes so no one would notice the change.
