I bring it up because we just missed the 15th anniversary of its premiere airing. All ready to blog about the historic occasion this weekend, I noticed the conflicting histories on the subject around the web (including on Frederator’s own site). After I talked with Fred, Genndy, Butch, and Craig, Van gave his typically detailed recollection when I asked him if it was indeed Craig and Powerpuff who were first to air:

The Annie Awards have all been handed out. Congratulations to Guy Moon for the big win in the Music in a Television Production category for Wishology.

It’s really nice to see how the awards were spread around - Pixar, Disney, Fox, Nick, Dreamworks, Laika, and others were rewarded. All well deserved, if you ask me. Hats off to all the winners.

Next year? Let’s all hope Fanboy and Adventure Time will dominate the proceedings.
